Super High Quality BONE VALLEY Specimen with blue/gray enamel, sharp serrations, and probably one of the nicest bourlettes you will ever encounter on a BV specimen.  Slight degree of rounding to the very tip but it is beyond next to impossible to obtain bone valley teeth anymore....at any size....let alone one of this caliber over the three inch mark.

Microscopic New Born Baby Blue specimen with white lightning strike running across the blade (its not a real lightning strike....its just what they call it).  The enamel looks a little flat in the picture but it is very glossy.  Very difficult to find these new born specimens.

There is a line one one side of the tooth that gives the appearance that this specimen had broke at one time and had the one corner reattached.  This is NOT so.  This tooth is 100% all natural and in its natural state of recovery.   I know the individual who found this tooth and have known him for quite some time and he has never been anything but completely honest. I have also inspected the tooth very carefully and believe this tooth to be all Natural.  All teeth that do end up breaking have a point just before the break....this just happens to be one of those teeth.   Extremely stable and the line crack probably happened a few million years ago.

But don't go over reading into the above....its just a line that I wanted to clear up.  Aside from the already stated.....this tooth is Flawless or as close as you are ever going to get.

This Bone Valley Megalodon Shark Tooth appears to have 100% fully intact serrations and an intact tip.  Outstanding mix of greens displayed in the blade enamel.  Root is smoke gray with zero breaks, chips, or erosion.  Only visible flaw that I can see is a few missing flakes in the bourlette area.  Bilateral measurements are identical.

Severely Pathological Bone Valley Specimen.

As far as pathological teeth go, this one is in very very good condition. No breaks or chips or missing pieces.  Most deformed teeth do not survive maturity -- this one did. The tip is curled up under the blade or else this tooth would be slightly over the two inch mark.  Looks as though the tooth had a severe abscess that caused this particular deformity. This tooth is not for everyone but it is super rare.
