Outstanding specimen with a fairly large piece of matrix still attached to it.  It makes a nice little stand for the tooth which will prop up nicely.  No additional charge for the matrix.

Absolutely amazing specimen from an "off limits" location.  Nice deep orange colors with a huge intact bourlette and sharp serrations. There is zero peel on this specimen. The enamel goes all the way up on both sides.  As you can see from the Chilean teeth below, most are a variation of off white in color....not this rich Orange color.

This tooth has it all: Beauty, size, and ultra rareness.

Just shy of the six inch mark and completely natural.  Anybody that has been collecting for any amount of time already knows just how hard it is to obtain Chilean teeth anymore....especially big natural ones.  Couple missing flakes out of the bourlette and some pitting in the blade here or there.  Nothing major but still wanted to mention it.  Serrations are super sharp, very much intact, and even the tip is without breakage.  Very nice hard to obtain specimen.

A degree of matrix still attached to the root of this beautiful Chilean Megalodon specimen.  As most of you already know, it is illegal to export Chilean teeth out of the country anymore and therefore the supply has dwindled down to almost nonexistent while the prices have skyrocketed.   Serrations are a good 98% fully intact and the tip is Pristine.

(Please not that I am relisting this tooth because the buyer changed his mind before fully paying for the tooth to be sent)

I'd have to say that this location is now perhaps the absolute most difficult place on earth to obtain a Megalodon Shark Tooth from due to the laws in Chile pertaining to the export of fossil sharks teeth.   Check my competitors and see how many Chilean Megalodons you see out there....small or large.  I'd have to say zero.

This specimen has some feeding wear to the tip but it is a monster and virtually impossible to obtain anymore.  And just check out the HUGE intact bourlette on this thing.

This is just an unbelievable display piece.  This specimen was in the private collection of Steve Alter for many years.  I can guarantee that you will never see another natural display like this one again.  This tooth is huge in the fact that its natural length is just a hair over the 6 inch mark but is a whopping 6.75 inches across.

Chances are this shark died of natural causes being that it was a mature full grown shark and the tooth split during the fossilization process.  The chances of this tooth splitting and then both sides remaining intact over the last 10 million or so years is slim to none.  Not to mention being unearthed and removed without being destroyed.

Just a one of a kind six inch plus display piece.

This is a Rare Chilean "Land" find.  Most of the teeth out of this location are found in the hard matrix and are often coated with the stuff. There does appear to be approx. a half dozen or so quarter to half nicked serrations on one side of the blade. The tip serration itself is fully intact and the remaining serrations are sharp.  It is also important to note that it is now illegal to  export  fossil sharks teeth out of Chile, which means the supply will not increase while the prices will.

A degree of half nicked serrations here or there but specimens from this location are illegal to export anymore....making them some of the most highly sought after.

Other than a few slightly nicked serrations (no blade damage), this is a very eye pleasing specimen. This Megalodon tooth was found in the sand--not in the more common hard matrix.  The blade is a very light cream color with a yellow/tan root. The bourlette is a dark orange in color and is 75% intact. The tip is also intact, including the tip serration itself. This is a very eye pleasing Megalodon Shark Tooth.

Excellent color combination on this Megalodon Shark tooth from Chile, which resembles that of a Lee Creek tooth more than a Chile Meg. Other than a few very minor serration nicks, which can be viewed from the non-display side picture, this is a very nice tooth. Bourlette is fire red, 75% intact, and gives the appearance of two eyes looking at you. The root is very solid and extra wide. Just an all around very eye pleasing large Megalodon Shark tooth from Chile.

This is not your usual  Megalodon tooth from Chile. For starters it is in simply unbelievable condition. I am unable to count a single nicked or missing serration on this entire tooth. Yes, even the tip serration is intact. The enamel is super glossy with virtually zero peel and mixed with both red and orange throughout. Perhaps the most remarkable characteristic on this entire tooth is the 99% intact fire red bourlette.--it is thick, it is red, and like I said, it is 99% intact.  This is an extremely high end Megalodon Tooth from Chile.
