Absolutely one of the nicest
teeth I have ever seen. The bourlette is 98% fully intact and those areas
missing are filled with gold pyrite. The blade is as dark as night and
about as close to stress free as one will ever hope to find. The
serrations are 100% perfectly preserved. There is not a single nicked or
missing serration on the entire tooth. Even the precious tip serration is
perfect. The only thing flaw on this almost "better than perfect" tooth is
the slight enamel peel on the non-display side where the blade meets the
root, but even this has a positive note--gold pyrite flaked throughout. This
is one tooth I hate to see go. Location: Georgia Item Number: 671 |

Aside from the slight peel
where the bourlette meets the blade, this is a very visual appealing
specimen--Jet black on the display side and copper metallic on the reverse.
The serrations are extremely well preserved and sharp but do just miss the
super sharp mark. Even with the slight peel, this is a very high end
Megalodon Tooth. Tip is intact and there is even a small amount of gold
pyrite flaked throughout the bourlette. Location: Georgia Item Number: 672 |

Take tooth number 671, raise
the quality by 1%, increase the size by .35 inches, and you arrive at
this specimen. Without a doubt, the nicest Georgia tooth I have ever seen.
Root is solid and void of the normal stress cracks. Bourlette is 99% intact
with gold pyrite coated throughout. Serrations are 100% intact, including
the tip serration. This is just an unbelievable tooth. There is even gold
pyrite flaked on the non-display side. Location: Georgia Item Number: 675 |
