Wow....4/100th of an inch and three more serrations and this tooth is more than double in price.  I highly doubt you would find very many sellers that wouldn't call this a golden five incher.  By ruler standards...this is a five inch tooth....but its actually just a hair off the mark and that is going to give you some huge savings.

This tooth has that very rare SUPER "V" Shape to it with an amazing 95-97% fully intact bourlette. The only minor flaw I can find on this entire tooth is what looks to be an a very small little bite mark...and I mean extremely small. Does not penetrate into the blade. Just a small little flicker of a nick of a few serrations.

The remaining 100% of the serrations are without flaw and by that I mean they are as Pristine as the day they fell out of the sharks mouth. And yes, even the highly prized tip serration itself is fully intact.

Extremely hard to find Aurora teeth of this size and quality.  NC113 & 114 listed below both hit the five inch mark and both sold for $3,000.  That should give you an idea what a steal this tooth really is.

This is considered one of the pinnacles of sharks teeth collecting - an over five inch Aurora Meg.  If you can live with a few flaws than this tooth will save you some serious money on a big Aurora meg.  This tooth is considered an absolute monster by Aurora standards but has incredible shape to go along with its massive size.  Has huge Mickey Mouse ears and is a classic very hard to find "heart shape."

Its not a perfect tooth though with the bourlette flaked out there dead center and a few missing and/or worn serrations to one side of the blade up near the root.  All in all it remains a very high end tooth with its size, shape, and over all quality.  Its not a beat up bargain tooth by any means...it just has enough imperfections to save you thousands.

5 & 11/16

By far one of the absolute hardest specimens to obtain over the five inch mark, but teeth measuring over the 5 & 1/2 inch mark are almost unheard of out of Aurora.  Needless to say....this one is an absolute MONSTER at 5 & 11/16.  And yes, this tooth...just like everything else I sell on my website....is 100% Natural.  Absolutely no repair or restoration of any kind.

The root is a little rough in spots but nothing major and the bourlette is not 100% intact, as you can see, but asking for this tooth...at this size...to be flawless is an unrealistic expectation.  For those of you who have been collecting for quite some time, you already know just how hard it is to obtain an Aurora tooth of this size....not to mention this quality.  The serrations are outstanding and the tip is fully intact.  Again, something you almost never see from this location at this size.

This is considered by most to be one of the premier specimens in all of Mgalodon Collecting - an over 5 & 1/2 in. Aurora Megalodon in high quality condition.

This was the largest specimen out of the collection that I purchased which included the two specimens listed below (NC113 & NC112).  As before, this tooth was also collected over 20 years ago and has been sitting in its own private homemade case ever since.  It is not only an extremely large specimen from this location but it is extra wide as well and nearly four and half inches across.  There is a hydration line along the enamel of the non-display side but as most of you know....these don't exactly come around very often.

The only flaw I can find in the serration department  looks to be two and a half nicked serrations up near the root on one side of the blade but that is hardly a flaw on a specimen of  this size with the other 99% of its serrations remaining pristine.  Tip serration itself is also PERFECT.  Just an incredibly difficult specimen to obtain at this size, from this location, and in this condition.

Wow!  And you thought NC112 was nice....just take a look at this one. A chocolate top Aurora Meg with a light colored blade and blue highlights throughout.  Tell me this one doesn't just make you hate me. But it gets even better....the bourlette is at least a good 95% fully intact, as well as  the tip serration itself being sharp and pointy.  In fact the only, and I do mean only, flaw I can find in the serration department....and this is getting extremely nit picky....is one single serration that looks like it might have a quarter of its original serration height missing.....but we are talking about 1/4th of a single serration here.  And if you look very closely at the third and last picture, you will see that the actual tips of each individual serration is fully intact.

I'd have to go on record as saying this is the nicest five inch Aurora Meg I have yet to offer for sale.  This one, like NC112, had been sitting in its own individual homemade locked case for the last 20 years.  It is in Pristine condition and was loved by someone for the last 20 years.

Not quite sure if I am ready to sell this beauty yet.  It had been sitting in a homemade locked case for the last twenty years before I was able to obtain it.  As you can see....this specimen is absolutely as nice as they come.  Its dead on the 4 & 1/2 inch mark and absolutely PRISTINE.  There is not a single, and I mean a single, hair missing on this entire tooth.  If you want to get super anal than there is just a little spec of a sliver of the bourlette missing but that is the only, and I do mean ONLY, flaw on this entire tooth and that is doing some unrealistic nit picking.

This is absolutely as nice as any tooth comes.

Bourlette is very rich in color and a good 98% fully intact as well.

Just two hairs shy of 5 & 7/8!

This is an absolute MONSTER out of Lee Creek... not to mention it is BLUE!  What exactly do you say about a Blue 5 & 27/32 inch Lee Creek specimen?  The bourlette is tiger striped and a good 90% intact.  Slight nick to the very tip and again where the blade meets the root on that one side, but still remains one of the hardest big teeth to obtain and with it being BLUE in color....you can pretty much guess that you will not be seeing another one of these anytime in the near future.

The last tooth of  this amazing 20 year old collection.  As I have stated before, each one of these teeth, NC119-NC112, had been sitting in its own individual homemade case for the past twenty years.  This tooth is also amazing with super high gloss enamel, a bourlette that remains a good 95% intact, and 99% pristine serrations.  The only flaw I can find on this entire tooth is the actual tip itself has a very very minor degree of rounding and by that I mean the actual tip serration is not pointy and sharp.  The tip has not been nicked or dinged or any of that jazz....just a very small amount of rounding as can be seen from the pics.  Hardly an eye sore on a tooth of this magnitude.   Again, these are the last three teeth remaining.  Enjoy.

Yes, there is some obvious bourlette flaking on this specimen but take a very good look at the better, yes better, than 99.9% FLAWLESS serrations and tip.   The only....and I do mean only....flaw I can find in the serration department is what looks to be one single half nicked or quarter nicked serration next to the tip.  The tip serration itself is fully intact but maybe three or four over from the tip is what looks to be a single quarter nicked serration....BUT....you really have to go out of your way to find this one little serration and you have to be doing some serious nit picking. For all practical purposes....the serrations are flawless.  A little more bourlette and the price would surely be double at this size and with this overall high degree of quality.

Ultra Rare 3rd Row Jaw Position Specimen.

This is the very first 3rd row jaw position specimen I have EVER sold.  Why?  Well for starters they are beyond rare. Secondly, the very few that I have seen have all been in what I would consider to be extremely low quality.  This one however is that ultra rare exception.  It is not only in unbelievable condition but it is RED....and what I would consider to be a few shades darker than the pictures would have you believe there on the front side.

The root is super smooth and one of the nicest roots you will find. The bourlette is a good 90% + fully intact. The serrations are 100% fully intact and sharp. The enamel is RED. The location is rare.  The jaw position makes this a once in a lifetime find.

A little bourlette flaking and some enamel lift on the non-display side keeps this specimen from being flawless.  There is not a single missing, nicked, or even half nicked serration on the entire blade. Even the almighty tip serration itself is fully intact. I really like this one.

Lower Jaw Position specimen -- only one I have for sale.  Very minor nick to the tip and what looks to be half a dozen half nicked serrations, as well as some hydration lines in the enamel.  Big tooth for the price.

CHERRY RED

The bourlette has obviously seen better days, as well as the root, but the Cherry Red blade more then makes up for it.  For all practical purposes the serrations are just about FLAWLESS -- if you look really hard you might find a single serration that has been a quarter nicked but that will take some time and some eye strain on your part. Tip serration itself is PERFECT.

This specimen was collected back in the 70's by a good friend of mine who was just a young teenager at that particular time -- the good old days as they are now know as.  Pictures should speak for themselves -- beautiful specimen.

This is by far the "BEST" Aurora Megalodon Shark Tooth that I have yet to encounter. It is "My" tooth out of "My" collection and I can't promise how long I will keep this specimen up for sale...before I change my mind.

The root is fully intact with zero erosion, nicks, or chips. There are two very distinct nutrient holes located dead center.  The extra large caramel colored bourlette is a good 85-90% fully intact and runs right up to the overhanging root. The enamel exhibits zero peel and is super glossy and very light in color. Along with size and sheer degree of overall preservation, the serrations are what makes this specimen so spectacular and they are better, yes better, then 99.9% FLAWLESS. I would give them a 100% but someone somewhere would find a single half nicked serration so I'll go with 99.9%.

If you can find a better Megalodon Shark Tooth then I suggest you exit out of my website and hurry up and buy it.

Specimens like this are never for sale.

A BLUE Aurora Megalodon Shark Tooth!

Now here is one for the serious, but extremely picky, collector.  Megalodon teeth from this location are rare enough but a BLUE specimen is at a whole other level of rarity.  But wait... it gets even better!  There is NOT a single, and I mean NOT A SINGLE, nicked serration on this entire tooth. If you want to so some serious nit picking then you might see one single serration that "could" be a quarter nicked but I don't think so. It actually looks like the serrations on either side are just large, which is not an uncommon characteristic for a  Megalodon tooth to have an irregular serration pattern, and by that I mean they go from large to small. But again...we are talking about one single serration that might or might not have a quarter of its original serration height nicked.  Why even mention it then?  Because I said this tooth was for the serious nit picker so I figure I'd better start nit picking it apart.

The tip serration is fully intact and pointy like a needle's prick. The bourlette is a good 90% or better fully intact with a classic Orange line separating the blade from the bourlette. The bourlette actually fades from dark orange at the bottom to dark brown in the middle and then light brown at the top. Looks like peel just above the dark coloration but after careful examination it appears to be more color variance in the bourlette then actual peel.

Even the gum line, where the blade meets the root, on the reverse side is 99% fully intact without peel, which demonstrates the high degree of overall preservation that this tooth exhibits.  No, this tooth is not going to be very everyone but it is for those few or simply want the "Best of the Best."

5 & 15/16th !!!

I can count on ONE finger how many Aurora Megalodon teeth of this size that I have sold,  and I can count on two fingers how many Aurora Megalodon Teeth I have ever seen at  this size. I little tip damage but if you are waiting for one of these at this size to appear in perfect condition.... you will be dead and fossilized yourself before that happens.

The preservation on this specimen is outstanding with 6-8 very large nutrient holes displayed on the root followed by another half dozen or so smaller ones.  You really have to hold the specimen in your hand to appreciate the pure magnitude of this tooth.  I'd guess that it is very close to, if not slightly over, a rock solid 16 ounces. This tooth fells like a tooth should feel...like a paper weight.

The enamel is very glossy and the serrations are very much so intact and highly preserved -- super sharp.

This is your first, and in all honesty...I believe to be your last, chance to ever have the opportunity to obtain an Aurora Megalodon Shark Tooth of this size.

They simply do not exist.
