An unbelievable super rare double bladed Otodus specimen. This is a very unusual specimen in the fact that the root itself has grown in between the two distinct blades. It looks more as though two separate teeth have been fused together than one single tooth. For one thing, it is extremely wide in comparison to the length. One blade has actually grown out and the tip has curled up into a very sharp point. On the other side it looks as though the blade was attempting to the same thing but never fully developed. Otodus teeth seem to produce pathologies more than any other species but most are very small teeth and nothing in comparison to this one. This would make a great addition to any collection and would certainly be something that no one else could claim. Item number: Otodus -29 |
